Happy Coders Multi Address for WooCommerce
An address book for WooCommerce. Logged-in customers save several billing and shipping addresses, give them nicknames, and pick one at checkout instead of typing it again.
What it does
A customer who orders to their home, their office and their mother’s house types three addresses into your checkout every time. WooCommerce stores one. This stores all of them.
A real address book
A Multi Address Book tab appears in My Account, usually at /my-account/hc-address-book/, where customers add, view, edit and delete their own addresses.
Nothing to set up for existing customers
On a customer’s first visit to the address book, their current default WooCommerce billing and shipping addresses are imported automatically. Nobody re-types their main address.
It fills itself up
When a logged-in customer enters a new, unique address at checkout, it is saved to their book and set as the new default — without them doing anything.
Nicknames and types
Home, Work or Other, with a nickname, so a customer picking an address at checkout knows which one is which.
Classic and Block checkout
Both are supported, and the address selectors appear automatically in the right sections. The plugin also ships a Checkout Address Selector block.
Admin control
Choose a dropdown or a radio list, cap how many addresses each user may keep, block new address entry at checkout, change the menu wording, and show the book as a carousel or a list.
Setting it up
Two minutes, and most of it is optional.
- Install and activate the plugin from Plugins → Add New, or upload the ZIP.
- Check that Multi Address Book now appears in My Account for a logged-in customer.
- Open WooCommerce → Settings → HC Multiple Addresses and choose the selector style and any limits.
- If the address book page shows Not Found, go to Settings → Permalinks and press Save without changing anything. That rebuilds the rules.
What you can change
Everything here is optional — the defaults work.
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Selector style | Dropdown select box, or a list of radio buttons |
| Allow new address entry | Yes, or No to force customers to use a saved address |
| Address limits | A separate maximum for billing and for shipping, per user. 0 or blank means unlimited. |
| My Account menu text | Your own wording instead of “Multi Address Book” |
| Display style | Carousel or list |

Questions people ask
Does it work with the new Block Checkout?
Yes. Classic and Block checkout are both supported, and the address selectors appear automatically in the right sections.
What happens to my existing customers’ addresses?
On a customer’s first visit to the address book page, their current default billing and shipping addresses are imported automatically. They do not re-enter anything.
What happens when a customer uses a new address at checkout?
If they are logged in and the address is new and unique, it is saved to their book and set as their new default.
Can I stop customers adding new addresses at checkout?
Yes. Set Allow New Address Entry to No and the “enter a new address” option disappears from the selectors.
Can I limit how many addresses one person saves?
Yes, with separate maximums for billing and shipping. Set it to 0 or leave it blank for unlimited.
Will it clash with my theme?
It uses standard WooCommerce hooks wherever possible. A theme or plugin that heavily rewrites My Account or checkout could still conflict — switch to a default theme such as Storefront and deactivate other plugins to find out which.
